Need recommendation for starting a blog about Christian faith?

I want to start a blog about faith in Jesus Christ, the good news of the Kingdom of God, and I want to speak to the Body of Christ as a whole, not a particular church or denomination. Does anyone have any links to an established blog platform that is already doing this? For instance, are my only two best choices Google's Blogger or WordPress? I am familiar with both of these.
